Robert More (botanist) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Robert More (botanist) Robert More (1703–1780) was an English politician, academic and botanist. ==Life== He was the son of Robert More, the third son of Samuel More. He was admitted to Queens' College, Cambridge in 1721, and matriculated there in 1723. He graduated B.A. in 1725, M.A. in 1728, and became a Fellow. He travelled widely in Europe; in Spain he became intimate with Benjamin Keene and Spanish ministers, and promoted administrative reform.〔 He was Member of Parliament for from 1727 to 1741, and for from 1754 to 1761; he was mayor of Shrewsbury in 1737.
